A Fifty Year Silence

A Fifty Year Silence by Miranda Mouillot is about a woman’s search to understand why her grandparents left each other and why her grandfather refused to talk about her grandmother. It is partly set in World War II and in the present and in many times in between.

I thought this book was going to be intriguing. An unraveling of a long-ago mystery. However, I quickly lost the thread as the book jumped from here to there and back again. I got tired of trying to keep track of what was going on. And I honestly did not finish the book.

I may go back to it one day, but it was not the best book I have read.

I received a copy of this book from Blogging for Books and received no compensation for the expression of my opinions about the book.
